The picture obviously is more than just "Nice". The ring was positioned frontally as if the animal was walking out of the woods into the viewer. The panthere was no longer just a ring, but an animal with elegance, pride, and carnivoral qualities.
The background was well treated with a very saturated, scintillating luster that coincides with the jewels. I still think the DOF part was beautiful because it looks like the animal was really walking into the earth, making noble footprints.... Sometimes, imperfection is what makes it unique....
The second picture with the white background turned out to be another nice surprise. Unlike the previous one, the baby panthere was pampered in a soft, comfortable and safe setting where she could nestle pleasantly... The image brings out the innocence of an infant.... pure, white, and flawless.
With the same ring, you have created two entirely different atmospheres and characterics. A big breakthrough from the very first one you took... that one was just a ring, now its got life... :)
